How your data is handled.

This guide uses no cookies, measures no traffic and does not identify you. The only things it uses from your browser are markers recording whether you have closed the subscription notice or already subscribed, so that it is not repeated. The only thing it collects is what you yourself write in the contact forms or in the subscription notice.

2 · What is collected, and what for

Only what you type into the forms on the contact page and into the subscription notice. There is no other point of collection.

• Enquiry form: name, email, subject and your message. To answer whatever you ask about the guide.
• Developer and agency form: company, contact name, email, telephone if you give one, reason, development and your message. To handle the submission or the correction of a figure on a profile.
• Subscription notice: your email and, if you choose to complete it, an optional profile (the position from which you follow the market and, depending on the case, budget range, time horizon or company and activity). The text you accept and the moment you accept it are also stored. Your subscription is not active until you confirm it from the link we email to you, and the date, time and IP address of that confirmation are recorded. To let you know about new editions and relevant changes to the ranking.

When you send a form, the data travels encrypted over HTTPS to the guide’s server, which forwards it by email to the project mailbox. Subscriptions are also kept in a log on that same server, out of public reach. Each submission also records the IP address it was sent from, and the date and time.

3 · Legal basis

Your consent, given by ticking the box on the form, and the taking of pre-contractual steps where the enquiry requires it. The IP address, date and time are processed on the basis of legitimate interest, for two purposes: to be able to show when and from where consent was given, as Article 7(1) of the Regulation requires, and to limit automated submissions, which are counted per address. Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018.

4 · Who else sees it

No one, unless you ask. If your enquiry asks us to put you in touch with the developer of a particular scheme, your details will have to be passed on, and that is done only with your express permission for that specific case. Your data is not sold, not rented and not added to any third-party list.

5 · How long it is kept

For as long as the relationship lasts, and afterwards for whatever period legal obligations require. If you ask for erasure, your data is deleted unless an obligation prevents it.

6 · Your rights

You can unsubscribe from the alerts using the link in each one. Access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability can be exercised by writing to info@malashpina.es. If you believe your data has not been handled properly, you may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

7 · Cookies and third parties

This guide installs no cookies, carries no analytics, no tracking pixels and no social media buttons. From browser storage it uses two items. A session marker records that you have closed the subscription notice, so that it does not open again for the rest of your visit, and it disappears when you close the tab. If you subscribe, a second marker remembers in your browser that you have done so, so that it is not offered again. Neither identifies anybody or is sent anywhere, and you can clear both from your browser settings. Verified against the published code.

It does load its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers, and Google receives your IP address. That is the only third party involved, and it happens on every page.

The relationship map is drawn from our own coordinates, with no map tiles and no external services. Driving times come from measurements already taken, not from live queries.

8 · Security

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are applied to protect the data. The site is served over HTTPS.
